Discipleship2:42 Groups
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42

2:42 Groups are intended to help us live out Acts 2:42 by regularly gathering 10 to 12 people for times of fellowship, prayer and sharing. The purpose of these groups is consistent spiritual growth, support and encouragement and also as a venue for Trinity’s shepherding ministry. A 2:42 group offers a safe place to enter into deeper fellowship, actively serve others, discover God’s plan and purpose for your life and enjoy the support and love of genuine Christian community.

Who leads the group?
Each group has a leader, many of whom are elders. All leaders have completed a 2:42 group leadership training and meet for continuing training, equipping and encouragement.

What can I expect from my 2:42 Group?
A group has 10 to 12 members of all ages and backgrounds. (You do not need to be a Trinity member to join a 2:42 Group.) Each meeting consists of a time of teaching based on Sunday’s sermon and time for prayer and fellowship.

When and where do the groups meet?
Most groups will meet at the church or at the home of the group’s leader or a host who desires to open his or her home on a regular basis.

How do I sign up?
Look for opportunities to sign up for 2:42 Groups in early fall and in late winter.
