Amy Piedra

Prior to her role as Director of Operations, Amy served as a Children's Ministry Assistant at Trinity for over a year. Amy has attended Trinity since coming to UVA as an undergraduate. She grew up near Harrisonburg, VA, and has spent considerable time in Mexico, Nicaragua, and Uganda. She taught in Charlottesville City Schools for a decade before joining Trinity staff in June 2022 and loves getting to use her "teacher brain" while also expanding her service to the families of Trinity. She desires to be a hospitable presence, especially to families who may be new to Trinity or to our nurseries or children's programs. She is married to Alex and they have two children, as well as serving as foster parents with Community Attention Foster Families.
