Bruce and Deb Robinson work in northwest Haiti, one of Haiti's poorest areas. Some of the efforts they are involved in include gravity (piped) drinking water systems and wells, irrigation and drainage to increase agricultural production, reforestation with fruit trees and integrated water resource management in the watershed, and church and church school construction. The team they work with in Haiti is working on a large spring capping and piped water system that will eventually have 50 km of pipe taking water to several communities and churches. They are also working on draining a large area that is too wet to farm in the middle of their semi-arid region so that food can be grown there again. Another project in process is a hurricane- and earthquake-resistant warehouse and emergency casualty center at the mission hospital.
