The Mercy Committee is stocking a closet of personal care and household needs items. Many of our neighbors in Charlottesville need these items, but they cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits. We are stocking the closet with non-perishable and non-food items that will not be wasted even if not used right away. If you have any questions you can reach out to Guiming Xiao.

The following items can be donated:
– diapers of all sizes, baby wipes
– soap, shampoo, combs, body lotion, sun protection products
– deodorant
– toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss
– women's needs
– dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent
– household cleaning products
– toilet paper, paper towels, tissues
– light bulbs, batteries
– hand sanitizer, masks, bandaids and other first aid supplies
– disposable razors, shaving cream
